OhmegaPly^® has been used for many years in Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) based microphones. These MEMs microphones are extensively used in commercial applications such as cell phones, speakers, headsets, ear buds, personal computers, and home devices. Automotive, wearable, and other electrical appliances are also beginning to adopt the OhmegaPly/MEMS microphone design approach. The benefits are numerous, including package miniaturization (length, width, AND height), improved reliability, improved electrical performance, and in many cases, potential cost reduction. These same benefits can be realized with other MEMS devices and circuits used in wearable/portable systems.
